Test podcast from satellite phone

When’s Sarah’s on her way she’ll be able to leave voicemail through her satellite phone that you can listen to online. Through a clever bit of technology from ipadio, it will get automatically posted to this blog and marked on her journey tracker using her GPS coordinates. Below is her first test message left at HMS President.

    Hi Sarah,
At 1pm GMT Margot and I plan to be at Cottesloe Beach facing west, standing to attention and singing some appropriate anthem. (not sure what yet).It will 30 mins past sunset. Awesome.
Don’t forget to load the motor. xx Sally

I just want to wish you a safe journey on this amazing adventure. Having just finished reading your book I am totally in awe of what you have achieved so far and just can’t imagine what is ahead of you now. You are certifiably bonkers, but I do know that you will make the most of every experience along the way! Can’t wait to read the next book!!

Best of luck for the start of your epic journey Sarah! Sorry I can’t be there to wave you off but I’ll wave a hanky from the Isis and those water molecules will carry you off to sea 🙂

That ipadio is pretty clever, although it needs to learn your surname as a priority – Ethan doesn’t have the same ring to it and it doesn’t rhyme with Outey toot! Looking forward to reading your blog again through the peaks and troughs, hills and valleys of the way. love Ruth x:)
