Nay much to report from Day 78 though again, twas lovely and sunny sunny, fairly musical and all in the right direction.
Herewith a roundup:
-6 nauties to the next degree and now over 1800 away from Perth.
-Spent the morning with Stephen Fry reading us some wonderful little tales by Oscar Wilde and Anton Chekhov. Marvellous.
-Tomorrow we start Tolstoy’s ‘War and Peace’. Wish me luck.
-Green peas sprouting away happily in the corner, ready for harvesting tomorrow.
-Nearly managed a whole portion of mush claiming to be ‘chilli non carne’. These will be our greatest battles to the end, I fear.
– First day without chocolate. Thought I should easy up and make sure there’s some for days ahead after my previous advance raids on food bags.
– Shoulders asked very nicely for a massage but my hands failed to satisfy, said shoulders being very solid and knotty and sort of out of reach. Any sports masseurs in the area, do please feel free to drop by and help.
-Have been on the lookout for Woozels and Heffalumps all day but none to report. Glad of this.
– Had some lovely chats with my super kind Silver sponsors. Thanks also to everyone who has helped out, donated or sponsored. This X-petition, (in the words of our dear friend Pooh Bear) is a team game really and I am super chuffed to be so well supported and seeing the totals rise for Arthrits Care.
So, back to the oars to round off Day 78, then onwards to the next… 1400 miles.
