After the wind died down, Sarah left Choshi Marina earlier today at 15.33pm (Japan time), 7.33am (UK time). Now clear of the marina she should be able to benefit from favourable winds and begin her solo row across the North Pacific.

Sarah — one of the great pleasures of following your adventure last year (before the typhoon) was being able to see your progress via the satellite tracker . I see that the satellite tracker page appears not to have been updated. I hope for your sake — and that of your devoted followers– that you have satellite tracking this go round. With best wishes and great admiration…
Hi Bob, the tracker is on board and will be up and running asap. Thanks for the support.
Go for it Sarah! I’m a rower and sea kayaker. Very impressed by what you’ve done so far, and even more so that you’re back finishing the mission. I’ll be following your process with fingers crossed for good conditions.

Wow Sarah I missed your push off this weekend ‘cos I was cycling from London to the New Forest and around and about a bit. Saw you did a bit of the “usual” around and about a bit too – getting a feel for the water! Stop feeding the fish – didn’t you get the memo….pump those oars girl and less of the groaning over the side – big hugs and a huge sigh of admiration for an amazing SISTER.
