Hello folks Lucy here, Sarah has just rung me to tell me to post a comment that she’s fine after her abrupt ending on the phonecast – she lost signal half way through but she is safe and a happy rower!

  2. Gigi Walentiny says:

Thanks, Lucy!! Was hoping it was nothing more than that, so confirmation is wonderful!

Great news that I *think* I heard that the predicted storm appears to have weakened? 🙂

Keep flying and surfing for all you can!! And when you’re cabinbound, get a good snooze in!

  3. What will you do after you have landed Happy Socks on Atka Island? Do you plan to row in the direction of Anchorage, Alaska? Will you instead have your rowboat transported on a larger boat to Anchorage?

    • The home team says:

Sarah will land on Adak and then get Happy Socks sent home for repairs and a bit of love before the Atlantic. Sarah will fly home for the winter and return to where she left from with her kayaking partner Justine in the spring next year. they will kayak to mainland Alaska and then cycle to happy socks on the east coast of America.
