Sad news about the Polish rower – it must have been a hard decision for him to make – but good news that you and Happy Socks will be rowing today. Here’s hoping you reach your target of 170 degrees east. Surely that will be possible, given that you’lll be fortified by the four tubs of peaches!
Good to see you maiking steady progress eastward. On food, I wonder whether you will be switching from a ‘see food’ diet to a ‘sea food’ diet? A tasty fishy in a dishy – or are those flying fish all fins and bones?
Of course it takes a female rower to show what determination looks like : just ask Debra Searle… or you for that matter!
Happy rowing Sarah…
Roz, your “Ahem” made me chuckle!
Ahem, indeed!!! <3
Sorry to hear about Romauld Koperski, but his decision to turn back just highlights your own achievements so far. Wishing you on , and hoping you’re back on terra firma before you have to resort to your less-favourite foods!
Just one note here: My buddy’s glasses are so thick that when we looked at a marine chart of the North Pacific, he said he could see you waving back.
Nice of you.
Row on, fair Lady.
Hey Sarah! If everything went your way in the past few hours, you’re now only ten degrees off your halfway mark around the world! That is truly amazing, especially given the difficulties of the past few weeks. Here’s to favorable winds and perfect tides for the rest of your journey.
So glad to hear you have made the 170 mark, you so deserve it. More so that you enjoyed the peaches. Hope you manage to get lots of rowing in and more so that you don;t run out of food before you reach Canada. How much chocolate did you take this time.
Take great care, happy rowing and singing as you go.

Hey there just wanted to give you a brief heads up
and let you know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a
linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same outcome.
Sarah, I have come to “know” you just a wee bit lately, thanks to Roz. Pulling a spiritual oar with you daily now ;-D
