    Hi Sarah

Great to hear your latestevents, especially with the ship nearby. Glad you have found the WD40, it certainly does work wonders. Hope you will soon be going in the right direction again.

All good wishes for now and take care

Duct tape and WD40 – where would civilization be without them?!

I do hope you were able to have a nice chat with someone aboard the nearby ship and that they never came close enough to cause you any alarm! As big as the ocean is, it’s amazing that it should ever have to be of concern, but understandably, it is!

Here’s hoping that this low pressure system moves out quickly and you can get back outside, on the oars, and Canada bound once more!

  3. Hi Sarah, We are following your adventure with considerable interest. We hope eventually you will become a member of the Spirit of Adventure Foundation. We feel your values and integrity align very much with the aims of the Foundation

    Best wishes

OK Sarah…I know you are seeking the Tweedles, it is clear from the tracker you are missing the little wrigglers and are intent on checking that they are OK – they are fine, trust me! I am sure they are tweeting about the encounter with the great Happy Socks and its kindly adventuring master as we speak. Now the wind…we got plenty of it coming up from the west over here in Bristol…want some your way? There you go, every bit helps to get you EASTwards and over the Tweedles. xxx

Hi! Sarah from Japan. Your phonecat is always eye-opening and encouraging. Thank you!I just finished a “Sabani” ocean race, only! 35kilo between Zamami Island and Naha City of Okinawa. Sabani is a wooden made, traditional fisherman’s boat in Okinawa with a sail and paddles. Check website when you have a clear & very peaceful day in your trip. Please remember you have a lot of friends everywhere some of them you even have not seen. Safe trip!

    Carry on.

    Sarah ‘Everyman’ Outen,

So wonderful to hear you relate the small stuff, in a relaxed, down-to-earth manner. You clean our minds of all the pompous clap-trap that we ingest everyday. It is satisfying to hear how close and serious those little things are to you. That’s just the way life should be: seeing the value in the momentary, tiny or regular things which affect us all.
If this arrives too late for July 1 st., have a tremendous Day After CANADA DAY in Happy Socks.
Keep your stick on the ice, ..we’re all pullin’ for ya’.
