I would not enjoy not being able to enjoy Starbucks coffee for 6 months! You must be mad. Who put you up to this? Next journey perhaps you will sail a boat around the world? You know how to fish and sail yes? Cheers!
hi Sarah…you sound totally chilled, so that is good!!
you asked me who my next ‘first’ is going to be…well she’s a great advocate of charitable works and people helping each other..the first woman president of The Rotary Clubs of Great Britain….
i will keep you posted on how the shoot goes…still hoping to photograph Sally Kettle and her Mum but I know she’s busy right now!

Yes Sarah.I agree with the previous comment. Get fishing and save some of your precious food stocks. Sorry you are not making good progress but that Easterly wind will come soon. I promise you. Dont even think about 7 months. you will get there before then. Think positive. Until the next time.God Bless. Peter in Nottingham. .
You’re out there, fulfilling a dream; doing something most folks won’t do; creating ‘interest in life’ for many S.O. followers; and giving yourself an incredible education.
Just watched the “Life of Pi” last night. Couldn’t help but think of you. You must be having a good ole time learning things about yourself. I just know you are “good company”.
You’re doing it, Sarah.
Not moving much toward Canada, but you’re moving through life. Good on ya’.

What does the sea anchor do for you? Obviously it doesn’t got to the ocean floor so does it slow you from drifting in one direction or another?
Geez if you end up in Canada in 5 or 6 monnths you’ll need snow tires for your bike. Good luck. When you land I want to come take a peak as I should be in Oregon and only about 5 hours to Vancouver.
Hi Sarah
Sorry to hear you are not making much headway at the moment, just enjoy the pancakes and gather your strength for when you start again.
Hope you have a pleasant weekend as much as you are able to.
Look ofrwrad to ehraing that you will be back rowing again soon.

Still an amazing achievement, well done!

Pancakes were my sweet hubby’s most favorite food – so he would raise his fork to your boat pancakes and tell you “well done!”
I have a question… how do you anchor your boat?
