Sounds like you are right on track Sarah. Well done! You are nearly there. And I know that you will be sharpening all your mental resources for the final push. We are pushing with you and lending all our mental weight to see you home safely. Adak Ahoy!
Wonderful report. I am monitoring marinetraffic.com/ais to see if your signal is picked up by the receiving station at Akutan, Alaska. So far nothing….perhaps the strength of your signal etc. prevents it. As long as other traffic close by sees you…that’s all that counts. Glad to hear your batteries are charging again. Your journey tracker is helpful in matching Happy Sock’s position on the ais map.
cheers,

Hope you have a nice smooth landing Sarah, finding your ‘land legs’ might be a bit tougher on other than a standard jetty! Pleased to know that within hours you will be safe again.
Hi Sarah, You’ve achieved a fantastic feat in the last few days of navigating (w/o a rudder) to be in exactly the position you need to be at to approach Adak I., Well done and congratulations.
I’m sure the folks at Adak, especially the children will give you a very warm welcome.
Fair winds and following seas, and a very save landing.
