Sarah has just been interviewed by ABC Radio and sounded really happy.
A few of her comments;
Northwesterly is picking up. Frustrated at being blown back, wondering wether to launch para anchor or not.
Have been waking up at sunrise to row.
Relaxed about bad weather coming.
Wonderful feeling – (about being alone at sea) all fears, whatever, just go away.
Good fun and exciting!
Just been listening to music, the snow patrol and audio books. Wind and the willows is my favoruite so far!
Cant believe 3 days have already gone!
Sarah is sounding genuinly happy and upbeat and showing all the right signs of being in the right place at the right time, doing what feels right for her. This is reassuring for all of us. A lot goes through your mind in the first few days at sea, especially on such an adventure like the one she is presently living. But Sarah is cool with it. She is really on her way. And she is happy.
