I think Happy Socks are on Sarah as you sound quite jolly despite the condensation problem. Whilst you are idling – Gaffa tape uses – can we start a list? Oddly I googled obscure uses and there were a lot of sites. Avoiding the obvious and artistic, I plumped for the science approach.

Gaffa tape ( or Duct tape formerly known as Duck tape) was used as a life saver on the Apollo 13 mission – good outcome. – 2. used in WWII to keep water out of ammunition cases and to seal food. – 3. Duct Tape Occlusion Therapy was essentially created to get rid of those unsightly warts. – 4. MacGyver had a small, flattened roll of duct tape in his back pocket at all times and could “fix a computer with a hairpin and a piece of duct tape. – 5. hurricane season is most definitely the time to stock up on Gaffa tape for the windows…..6. not a personal recommendation but hair removal!!!! 7.

Chin up Sarah…stiff upper lip and all that as my mum used to tell me. You should write some poetry out there on the sea…maybe a haiku or two.
Martell is current just sub 4000 on his distance. No issues with ventilation hatches. Try chewing gum.
