The day of reckoning is nearly here. Tomorrow I fly North up to Iceland, ready to join the Velvet Lady for an ocean passage back to Plymouth. Happy days indeed- my first ocean passage and what I am sure will be a massively useful learning experience. I have spent plenty of time out-of-sight-of-land before but namely due to bad weather rather than being completely offshore in the middle of the big blue.
Currently my room looks like its been hit by a family of small elephants with a penchant for clothes -there is stuff everywhere! It really ought to be in my bag ready for the off. Hohum.

Hi Sarah,
Excellent to see you today and we are glad you love your boat! Pete our sparky has arrived back now (his van is all fixed) and he is fiddling with lots of wires in your main cabin with Jamie. See you next week when you come to collect your boat – we will be sad to see her go….Speak soon. Love Emily & Jamie x
