Girl in a Boat

A little teaser of video from the ocean. My thanks to my Director, Richard Butchins for cutting it together. Now onwards with the quest for backing  to turn it into a documentary…. Any ideas, please wing them my way!

Nice tushy!!! LOL To make a documentary all you need is a trusty computer with the ability to record your voice-overs. I assume you were recording digitally either on a Hard drive camera or with Mini DV tapes. Once it’s all in the editing program (I use iMove by APPLE) you can add effects, music, still images etc. almost too easy.

  12. Barry Gumbert says:

P.S. that’s iMovie that I use for editing

Thanks for that snippet Sarah, puts it all into perspective in a way that the daily blogs never could. Probably just as well though, as you would have given most of your fans some serious cause for concern.Looking forward to the next installments … and your return visit to Perth.

  16. Dagmar says:

Absolutely amazing, Sarah. Looks like it was a time of extremely intense feelings! It is altogether mind-blowing. Hope all is well back at home & look forward to receiving T-Shirt and more video or photo coverage of your voyage!

  17. ah says:

  18. Steve RPYC says:

Great shots Sarah. It must have been hard to make yourself take them at times, but I am glad you did. I hope there are plenty more.
I guess at present it almost seems as though it was easier to get up every day and just row (and survive) than it is now writing a book and organising this, that and the other. But you’ll do both well, as it’s your nature.
Looking forward to reading and watching your adventure when released.
    Regards
    Steve

Blinding Video! That’s put it all in perspective.
I think you did marvellously – well done 🙂

Wot, no BBC exec. breathing down your neck to make a documentary? They should be ashamed of themselves.

  20. Really nice to meet you last night, Sarah. Let’s meet and chat sometime soon. Let me know when you’re in the Big Smoke…
