Czech Republic - v pretty but v hilly

Hello Folks –

Apologies for the radio silence of late – Hercules and I have been laying down some miles and have had a few charging/connectivity issues with the laptop so have been unable to post. Meanwhile, a quick few photos from the last couple of weeks to keep you satisfied until I get a chance to post from Prague over the weekend.

Had all gone to plan I would have liked to have been there already, but I’ve been hit with food poisoning so have spent the day in bed in a little penzion in a town called Klaravice in the Czech Republic. Oh, how glad I am to have had a proper bed and ensuite facilities!

Hercules is outside and raring to go so I had better get some more sleep and prepare, I hope, for starting again tomorrow.

Thanks for all your support thus far,

From me and Herc,

Sarah x

Love the lighting on that last photo. One question; Herc’s saddle looks bloody painful! Doesn’t the old posterior catch some flack? Or is it a gel-seat.
Loving following your progress, Sarah, hope you are safely on your way tomorrow with the gut-squits well behind you (in every sense).

    Good luck,

Had a good day today so brave enough to send you a message! We thought of you today as we cycled around Rutland Water which was just long enough for my legs, though Gaz and Molls could have done more. Molls is busy baking lemon drizzle cake and would love to send some your way. Will be bold and in touch again soon! Good luck Sarah 🙂 Lots of love Kiffy Gaz and Molls xxx

    Hi Sara,

Sorry to hear you’ve been poorly, but I’ve just seen on the tracker you’re on your way into Prague, so guessing you’re feeling a bit better.

I wanted to say – take a short diversion after Prague and spend an afternoon in Kutna Hora to see the bone church (Sedlec Ossuary). It’s a weird and wonderful site and hopefully shouldn’t be *too* busy with tourists. The whole town is quite pretty and worth a short whizz around on Hercules.

p.s. good to see the photos resized! Google reader goes a little mad when they’re at full size.
