Ahoy!
I hope this finds you well, free of winter lurgy if you’re in the same hemisphere as us and enjoying the silvery full moon.
I am also enjoying the fact that I am nearly at the end of a busy few months of touring our film “Home” all over the country in its opening theatrical release. Thank you to everyone who has supported the showings at festivals and cinemas, arts centres and even a pub in the Scottish Highlands.
Tick tock, tick tock…. Stamford, UK on Sunday night?
If you’re due to be Stamfordish area on Sunday night then you might be in with a chance of grabbing the final tickets for our final screening of the year (inc. Q&A).
I’m really looking forwards to this one – I always love going back to Stamford Arts Centre.
Last weekend we had my other local with a sellout crowd at the lovely community-run Wallingford Corn Exchange, collecting a whopping £300 for Blurt. Thanks to everyone who came along.
2020
We’re currently building a list of screenings for 2020, so ping us an email hello@sarahouten.com if you would like to screen the film at your club/school/pub/community event etc. And if it’s the big screen you’re after then ask your local cinema to request Home – that helps us get in through the door.

A win in Norway!
We’ve got some more laurels, too – this time for ‘Female Empowerment Film of the Year’ from the Nordic Adventure Film Festival. It’s getting quite busy on our poster and we’re feeling very proud of how the film is affecting people.
Matt and Reimi, for example, are now planning to ride to Japan from the UK in 2021, inspired by watching our film.
Chris rode Lands End to John O’Groats after he watched it.
Esther felt braver.
Rosanna felt calmer in mind and body after a week of anxiety getting in the way of life.
Kat’s thinking of rowing or kayaking somewhere.
Rosie felt like she can do anything after watching it (I hope this continues!)
……..
For now, I leave you with a prod to chase the final tickets if you’re due to be near to Stamford this Sunday evening and a big happy thank you for all your support.
Standby for a final KS Home update of 2019 before we pause, rest and slink into 2020.
Go well,
Sarah
